Veronica is a rock star! Anything for the photo right? In a rush to leave for their session, Veronica rolled her ankle loading the car with their props. For most women, this would be enough to reschedule, especially knowing the entire session would be in the soft desert sand. Not Veronica! A couple pain killers and ice, she’s good to go. It was worth it! The lighting was perfect, they looked stunning and so in love. Luke and I ate it up.
Ryan and Veronica wanted the classic Palm Springs icons, so we started at the Palm Springs Visitor’s Center for the Palm Spring sign with the mountain in the background. Ryan was so nervous to begin. =) Not to worry though, with all of his attention focus on his beautiful fiancé his nerves were quickly melted away by her radiant smile. No formal poses to hold and awkward smiles here- all natural with attention focused on each other is always the best way!
What could be a more classic Palm Springs icon than the infamous windmills in front of the San Jacinto Mountain peak? Veronica brought an array of lovely props for a romantic picnic. Unfortunately, the wind was to much for most of it to stand on it own. That’s ok though. Nothing was needed for these two, except a blanket and each other.
What a wonderful engagement session. And we topped it off with a stop at the ice cream shop to get to know each other a little better. Luke and Ryan bonded over basketball and sports injuries of course. Boy will be boys! Veronica reminisced on their sweet story and what brought them to this point. But that’s saved for the wedding blog post. =)
Can’t wait for their Miramonte wedding this coming September!
